Recently, we highlighted unusual activity in Anheuser-Busch (BUD). BUD ran from $47 to $52, so it looked more like a directional call then a dividend play.

Today, market participants have chosen to go with another brewski, as options in Molson Coors Brewing Company (TAP) have traded at 11 times the usual volume.

On May 6, Molson reported better-than-expected EPS and revenue. With the stock at $56 today, investors bought 4,000 contracts for the TAP Oct 60-65 bull-call spread (TAPJL/TAPJM) for roughly $1.60. With this bullish call spread, investors are betting that the good times continue will to roll.
